Installation suitability
BUS-SCS devices are installed in the same way as conventional devices. Depending on the item the installation can be made:
- In flush-mounted boxes;
- In DIN switchboards;
- Wall mounted.
To connect the devices they must be bus wired via non-polarised 2 WIRES cable. The actuators that control the load must be connected also to the electrical mains (230 Vac).
BUS-SCS wiring
The wiring distribution can be made with:
- Free structure
- Star structure
The selection must be made in relation to the installation needs, the functions required, wall limitations, refurbishments or new buildings.
The BUS cable has 2 conductors and it is used for carrying information and the low voltage power supply (27 Vdc).
Configuration Gateway and Remote control (item 088240)
The new and innovative configuration gateway is a tool that allows to program and modify the operating parameters of the lighting control system sensors using a smartphone and the dedicated Legrand Close Up APP.
Turn the potentiometers to change the settings of: brightness threshold, delay time and detection sensitivity.
The configuration remote controls can adjust the settings precisely without needing to approach the device physically and can save a type configuration and replicate it on other sensors.
The flush-mounting installation may be made by springs, without flush-mounting box and with or without cover (springs and cover are supplied).
The ceiling sensors can also be installed in brick or plasterboard ceilings using flush-mounting boxes item 502 E, PB502 and 89358.
All the ceiling sensors can be installed on the surface using boxes for ceiling installation item 048875 to be purchased separately.
The sensors for installation in domestic series are available in LivingNow, Axolute, Livinglight and Màtix series.
